Gushers is a cross of Gelato #41 and Triangle Kush from California, attributed to Cookie Fam Genetics; several seed companies list their own versions.

Research as of 11/03/2026

Flowering times of 8 to 11 weeks are given for Gushers: Royal Queen Seeds states 8 to 10 weeks for its own feminized version, while a growing guide with no link to a specific seed line gives 10 to 11 weeks indoors. Two cultivation descriptions point to the dense buds, which need sufficient air movement; without it, the plant is considered prone to mildew and pests. The cross of Gelato #41 and Triangle Kush comes from California and is attributed to Cookie Fam Genetics.

Genetics and Origin:

The sources agree on the parent strains. Strain descriptions name Cookie Fam Genetics as the breeder, one retailer page simply says Cookies, and another description lists the breeder as unknown. According to the available information, Cookie Fam Genetics has never offered the strain in feminized form. The names Fruit Gushers, White Gushers and TK41 are also in circulation.

At the Emerald Cup 2018, an entry named Gushers placed 10th in the Outdoor category for licensed operations, according to the published results list.

As a parent, Gushers is part of Gush Mints, which Purple City Genetics put together from Kush Mints, F1 Durb and Gushers. Clone Quest pollinated the cutting known as Plushers with itself and released the offspring as Gushers S1.

Cultivation:

The flowers of the original version are described as elongated and olive green, with light green leaves, thin amber pistils and fine trichomes. A growing guide calls the growth bushy, considers the strain relatively easy and credits it with a preference for a warm, sunny climate; outdoors in the northern hemisphere, harvest is said to take place in late October.

MSNL Seeds describes its plants as medium-sized with usable side shoots that respond to training, moves the outdoor harvest to early October and rates cultivation as medium difficulty. Royal Queen Seeds considers its version suitable for beginners and advanced growers and also for regions with short summers; a retailer lists the same version as medium difficulty.

Versions from Different Breeders:

Several seed companies distribute their own versions. The values come in each case from the named breeder:

  • Royal Queen Seeds: feminized, 60 % indica, 8 to 10 weeks of flowering (one retailer states 9 to 10), indoors 450 to 500 g/m² at 70 to 120 cm height, outdoors 650 to 700 g per plant at 120 to 150 cm.
  • Zamnesia: feminized, 9 to 10 weeks, up to 500 g/m² indoors at 120 cm, up to 700 g per plant outdoors at up to 150 cm, also intended for the greenhouse.
  • Zamnesia, Gushers Automatic: autoflowering with a ruderalis share, 11 to 12 weeks from seed to harvest, up to 400 g/m² at 80 cm indoors.
  • MSNL Seeds: feminized, listed as a balanced hybrid, 8 to 10 weeks, 400 to 500 g/m², 100 to 180 cm.
  • Atlas Seed: feminized, described for indoor cultivation.
  • Humboldt Seed Organisation, Gushers Fast Flowering: crossed with Uncirculated OG Auto, 75 % indica, 20 % ruderalis and 5 % sativa, feminized, with very firm buds.
  • Clone Quest, Gushers S1: feminized, about 65 days of flowering, for indoor and greenhouse; according to the breeder, the plants show purple and green tones.

Aroma and Flavor:

Fruity sweetness and creamy notes run through the descriptions, though the weighting differs. Royal Queen Seeds emphasizes cookie notes with earthy and fruity undertones, Zamnesia berries, tropical fruit and citrus with pine and vanilla. Humboldt Seed Organisation and Clone Quest mention gas and cream, other descriptions sour fruit candy, herbs and spice, one of them grape. In user reports, tropical sweetness and berry recur; a single report detects a cheesy note with a finish of green apple or pear.

On the terpene profile, the figures diverge: Royal Queen Seeds names myrcene and limonene, MSNL Seeds myrcene, caryophyllene and humulene, other descriptions put caryophyllene ahead of limonene and linalool.

THC and CBD Content:

For their versions, the breeders state 19 to 25 % THC: Atlas Seed 19 to 25 %, Royal Queen Seeds 24 %, MSNL Seeds up to 24 %, Zamnesia 25 % and 22 % for the automatic version. Zamnesia puts the CBD share at 0 to 1 %, MSNL Seeds at under 1 %. Strain descriptions with no link to a seed line give 15 to 25 % THC, another 15 to 22 %.

Effects:

User reports describe the effects as relaxing and euphoric, combined with elevated mood, talkativeness, giggling and a tingling sensation in the body. Several reports mention a fast onset. They disagree on the direction: some found the strain rather stimulating and focused, others distinctly physically relaxing, and a few felt it was more sativa-leaning than the genetic information would suggest. MSNL Seeds describes for its version a course from initially stimulating to later calm and physically at ease.

Reported side effects include dry mouth, dry eyes, dizziness and headaches, as well as nervousness, anxiety and, at a high dose, slight paranoia.
