According to the source, never available as feminized seeds, only regular. Origin story: Starfighter × Colombian landrace, seeds accidentally washed in the washing machine, only one seedling (no. 15, Miracle 15) survived; according to a profile in California Leaf 2026, after 2 weeks only no. 15 was still alive. According to Capulator, the MAC 1 clone comes from MAC seeds (Leafly article 2023); according to strain descriptions, the breeder passed the clone on only to selected growers (Leafly MAC 1). No breeder data on flowering time, yield, height or THC found.
MAC
also known as Miracle Alien Cookies, Miracle Cookies, MAC 1, The MAC, M.A.C., Miracle Alien Cookies X1
MAC, short for Miracle Alien Cookies, was bred by Capulator from Alien Cookies F2 and Miracle 15; the MAC 1 cut won the flower category at Ego Clash in 2022.
Growers report much the same about the cutting of MAC again and again: it roots more slowly than other clones, barely advances in the vegetative phase and only catches up in flower, then with dense resin coverage. The name stands for Miracle Alien Cookies, bred by Capulator. Mostly MAC 1 is in circulation, which according to the breeder is a clone from the breeder's own MAC seeds. In December 2022, a MAC 1 grown on the US East Coast won the flower category at Ego Clash, an invitational competition in California.
Genetics and Origin:
The starting point was a cross of Starfighter and a Colombian landrace. In a 2026 profile, Capulator recounts that the seeds accidentally ended up in the washing machine; Capulator's partner then put them in a damp paper towel, and after 2 weeks only plant number 15 was still alive. This male, henceforth called Miracle 15, pollinated an Alien Cookies F2 mother. The year of release is not reported consistently: a 2023 report dates the creation of MAC 1 to 2015 and places it in a building in Downtown Los Angeles, while a magazine profile gives 2016.
Besides MAC and MAC 1, the names M.A.C., Miracle Cookies and The MAC are in use. According to strain descriptions, Capulator passed the clone on only to selected growers. The breeder also used MAC as a parent, for example for Banana MAC from Banana OG and Orange Cookie MAC from Orange Cookies; the feminized Lion's Strength, a cross with Super Lemon Haze, also traces back to MAC.
Community Experiences:
The grow reports agree that the clone reacts sensitively to a substrate that is too wet and demands plenty of calcium and magnesium. The fan leaves stay small and look feathered, yet the plant produces abundant foliage; growers advise removing the lower shoots early and defoliating in flower. In one documented grow, height tripled from 12 to 36 inches by day 27 of flowering, and growth picked up clearly after the stretch. Reports on stability diverge: MAC has a reputation among growers for producing runts and mutations, while other reports record no problems.
Effects:
User reports describe a euphoric, cheerful mood that stimulates the mind and relaxes the body at the same time. Creativity and focus are also mentioned; some consumers felt energetic, others rather sleepy. Some reports describe a delayed onset. Dry mouth and dry eyes appear as side effects, in some reports also nervousness, occasionally forgetfulness and shaking. Strain descriptions additionally list dizziness.
Aroma and Flavor:
Capulator compares the flavor to sour black cherry yogurt. Strain descriptions mention citrus, butter, pepper, floral notes and a hint of ammonia, user reports orange, lemon, pine and mint, plus a gassy, sour-musky undertone; on the inhale, a creamy-floral note is described. The product descriptions of medical flower speak of citrus, vanilla and earthy notes, as well as berries, caramel, honey and diesel.
According to manufacturer data on 2 batches of medical flower, limonene and α-pinene lead the terpene profile, followed by linalool; in one of the batches, β-caryophyllene is in 4th place, and its total terpene content is stated as 10.647 mg/g. Strain descriptions name limonene, pinene and caryophyllene.
THC and CBD Content:
Strain descriptions put MAC at 22 % THC and 1 % CBG. For 2 batches of medical flower grown in Canada, the manufacturer data show 23.3 % and 26.4 % THC, with CBD values below 1 % and below 0.1 % respectively. Values vary by batch, cultivation and phenotype.
Cultivation:
For flowering time, strain descriptions give 9 to 10 weeks for MAC and 8 to 9 weeks for MAC 1; they rate cultivation as moderately difficult and difficult respectively. A medium yield and a height of up to 150 cm are also stated, and indoor and outdoor are possible locations.
Versions from Different Breeders:
Capulator released MAC only as regular seeds; feminized seed comes from other breeders. Zamnesia Seeds lists a feminized MAC 1 from Alien Cookies and Miracle 15 at 50 % indica and 50 % sativa. The breeder states 24 % THC, 9 to 10 weeks of flowering, up to 550 g/m² indoors and up to 400 g per plant outdoors, at a height of 160 cm indoors and 180 cm outdoors. For the autoflower variant with a ruderalis share, Zamnesia Seeds gives 10 to 11 weeks from seed to harvest, 110 cm height, 20 % THC, and up to 550 g/m² indoors and up to 150 g per plant outdoors.
The feminized Miracle Alien Cookies from GB Strains is listed at 60 % sativa and 40 % indica, with 9 to 10 weeks of flowering indoors and an outdoor harvest in mid-October. Stated are 450 g/m² indoors and over 500 g per plant outdoors, at 120 to 140 cm indoors and 180 to 230 cm outdoors.

Cultivation: the MAC 1 clone roots slowly, grows hesitantly in the vegetative phase, does not tolerate a substrate that is too wet and needs a lot of calcium and magnesium; in flower it catches up and forms dense, heavily frosted buds. Effects: euphoric and cheerful, stimulating for the mind with physical relaxation; creativity and focus are also mentioned. Aroma: citrus and orange notes.
On stability: MAC is considered among growers to be prone to runts and mutations, while others report problem-free grows.
