White Cherry OG is a hybrid of unresolved parentage: White Cherry × OG Kush, Cherry OG × The White and Terp Fi3nd's Durango OG × White Cherry Truffle are all named.

Research as of 10/12/2026

For White Cherry OG, 3 family trees are in circulation that cannot be reconciled. 2 strain descriptions list White Cherry × OG Kush with no known breeder, another gives Cherry OG × The White, and under the same name the breeder Terp Fi3nd is credited with a cross of Durango OG and White Cherry Truffle. Classifications range from hybrid with no further detail to slightly indica-dominant.

Genetics and Origin:

The White Cherry × OG Kush variant is explicitly listed without a known breeder; one description places its roots in the California West Coast scene. White Cherry and Cherry White are recorded here as aliases. Those who assume Cherry OG × The White also call the strain White Cherry Kush or White Cherry OG Kush and classify it as 60 % indica and 40 % sativa; a breeder is missing there as well.

The pedigree of the Terp Fi3nd line is broken down in the most detail. Durango OG goes back to Alien OG × Alien Bubba, White Cherry Truffle to Cherry Noir × Highland Afghani, with Cherry Noir arising from Cherry Lime and Chemdawg. OG Cherry Gumball by iiTzToasty builds on this line, a cross with iiTzToasty's own Cherry Gumball. White Cherry Gelato is listed as a further descendant, a cross with Gelato whose breeder is not known.

Versions from Different Breeders:

Only the Terp Fi3nd line is attributed to a breeder. It is recorded as regular seed; feminized seeds of it did not exist. A strain description that refers to Durango OG × White Cherry Truffle gives 8 to 10 weeks of indoor flowering, an outdoor harvest in October, a medium yield, and 18 to 23 % THC and 1.2 % CBD; these figures do not come from the breeder. For White Cherry × OG Kush, by contrast, about 8 to 9 weeks of flowering are given.

THC and CBD Content:

For the White Cherry × OG Kush line, one description gives 20 % THC and 0 % CBD, another 20 to 25 % THC. The description that assumes Cherry OG × The White starts higher, at 22 to 26 % THC. All values come from strain descriptions; none is tied to a lab or a batch.

Aroma and Flavor:

Descriptions of scent and taste overlap only in part. One lists sweet black cherry and ripe berries over an earthy musk, with a fuel-like citrus note behind them; on the palate tart cherry and sweet plum, with pepper, pine and menthol on the exhale. Others name earth, lavender and lime, plus blueberry, lemon, flowers and wood in the scent, and berry, honey and sour and sweet notes in the taste. Apricot and apple are added from user statements. The terpenes named are caryophyllene, limonene and linalool in one description, and limonene, myrcene and caryophyllene in another; neither profile is backed by analysis.

Effects:

The effect descriptions are similar across the family trees: an initially head-centered, mood-lifting effect that shifts into physical relaxation. Creativity, cheerfulness up to giggling, euphoria, focus and a burst of energy are named. One description notes that the physical heaviness does not tie the user to the couch right away. Dry mouth, dry eyes and anxiety are recorded as unwanted side effects.

Cultivation:

The most detailed cultivation information applies to the White Cherry × OG Kush line and comes from a strain description, not from a breeder. It rates the difficulty as moderate and names a controlled indoor space or a warm, Mediterranean outdoor climate as a suitable environment. Yield is given as moderate to high and depends accordingly on training methods such as topping or LST. The canopy grows dense, which is why regular thinning is mentioned for light penetration.

The buds are described as dense and spade-shaped, forest green with deep purple undertones, thin orange hairs and a thick, sticky layer of trichomes. Another description speaks of oversized, cluster-shaped buds in mint green with fine white trichomes.

Community Experiences:

A total of 8 evaluated user reports paint a similar basic picture: elevated mood, giggling, concentration and relaxation recur, and several reports also mention talkativeness. Differences appear in the course of the effect. One report describes a fast onset, another an effect that only builds fully over time. One user describes relaxation combined with drive that was enough for housework, another highlights the mild smoke. One report says the buds are thick and compact.
