Pink Rozay

Pink Rozay is a cross of Lemonchello and London Pound Cake from Cookies, which several seed producers reproduce with widely differing specifications.

Research as of 10/02/2026

Short internodes, a bushy, compact growth habit and buds that turn pink to purple in cooler temperatures or toward the end of flowering: this is how seed producers describe their versions of Pink Rozay. The strain itself comes from Cookies in San Francisco, where it was created from Lemonchello #10 and London Pound Cake #75. Cookies derives the name from rosé wine, whose floral freshness the strain is meant to recall.

Genetics and Origin:

Zamnesia traces Lemonchello back to Original Lemonade and Cherry Pie, and London Pound Cake to Sunset Sherbet and an unnamed indica. One strain description assigns the Cookies line 80 % indica. Besides Pink Rozay, the spellings Pink Rosay and Pink Rose are in common use.

Not all providers adopt this pedigree. Original Sensible Seeds names Cherry Pie and London Pound Cake as parents, Blim Burn Seeds Lemoncello and Lemon Pound Cake, and a Canadian producer lists Lemonchello #10 with Lemon Pound Cake #75. The providers do not explain where the discrepancies come from. As a parent, Pink Rozay is found, among others, in Pink Rozay x Londoon Jelly by Tiki Madman and in the autoflower cross Pink Rozay x Strawberry Banana Auto by Original Sensible Seeds.

Versions from Different Breeders:

According to one strain description, Cookies itself never released feminized seeds; another description gives 16 to 18 % THC for the Cookies line. The feminized versions from other breeders differ from one another in almost all key figures:

  • Zamnesia (Lemonchello × London Pound Cake): 9 to 10 weeks of flowering according to the product description, 8 to 9 weeks according to a strain profile from the same provider; 400 to 450 g/m² indoors, up to 450 g per plant outdoors; up to 120 cm indoors and up to 170 cm outdoors; outdoor harvest from late August to early September; 25 % THCA.
  • Zamnesia, autoflower version with ruderalis: 11 to 12 weeks from seed to harvest, 23 % THCA.
  • Original Sensible Seeds (Cherry Pie × London Pound Cake, 70 % indica): 60 to 65 days of flowering, 600 g/m² indoors, 800 g per plant outdoors, 90 to 120 cm indoors and 120 to 180 cm outdoors, 33 % THC.
  • Blim Burn Seeds (Lemoncello × Lemon Pound Cake, 80 % indica): 8 to 10 weeks of flowering, 400 to 450 g/m² indoors, 400 to 550 g per plant outdoors, outdoor harvest in October, 15 to 17 % THC.

In the THC figures, Blim Burn Seeds is at the lower end with 15 % and Original Sensible Seeds at the upper end with 33 %.

Cultivation:

Zamnesia describes its plants as vigorous, with dense foliage and firm buds, and therefore advises controlling the humidity. According to the provider, they tolerate topping, defoliation and other training methods well, as well as a ScrOG. Original Sensible Seeds describes strong side branches and dense, resinous buds whose orange pistils turn purple toward the end of flowering. At Blim Burn Seeds, pink pistils and calyxes under a thick layer of resin stand out.

One review describes dried Cookies buds as firm, free of visible sugar leaves and densely covered in trichomes. A strain description mentions olive-green buds with pink and purple tones and orange hairs.

Aroma and Flavor:

Strain descriptions highlight rose, blossom and lavender, others sweet strawberry with nutty herbs and spice. User reports mention rose perfume, strawberries and a tart note of black tea, in one case raspberry hibiscus tea. Zamnesia speaks of a wine-like, fruity-floral bouquet with a hint of fermented yeast, which is said to turn more sour during curing. A review describes the scent as floral with a peppery tickle in the nose and a light citrus note, the flavor as lavender ice cream with a spicy aftertaste.

As predominant terpenes, one strain description names caryophyllene ahead of myrcene and limonene. The breeders set different priorities: Zamnesia puts limonene first, Blim Burn Seeds myrcene and caryophyllene. Original Sensible Seeds names limonene as dominant on its own page, while another description of the same version names myrcene.

Effects:

Reports describe a euphoric onset, partly with noticeable pressure in the head, followed by physical relaxation. An arousing, sensual component is mentioned several times. The reports disagree on heaviness: some find the strain strongly sedating, with the effect growing over time, others focused, stimulated and clear-headed. Zamnesia describes a sociable, silly high. One report mentions restlessness and racing thoughts; strain descriptions also list dry mouth, dizziness, nervousness and paranoid thoughts.

Community Experiences:

A grower sowed 3 seeds of the Zamnesia version and got 3 clearly different phenotypes, of which only one was convincing. In customer reviews of the same version, some report germination problems, others quick flowering and a strong aroma.
