Frozen Grapes

Flower sold under the name Frozen Grapes tests between 17.1 and 25.12 % total THC. No single line stands behind the name: In House Genetics, Gus' Unique Selections and Cookies each run their own crosses, and even for the most widely distributed version, multiple parentages circulate.

Lab Results:

A batch analyzed in 2026 came in at 28.33 % THCA, 25.12 % total THC and 0.18 % CBG. A second batch, also tested in 2026, was noticeably lower at 19.798 % THCA. Three batches are documented for the Cookies version, reaching between 17.1 and 20.1 % total THC and 1.53 to 2.18 % total terpenes; a further single measurement lists 17.33 % THC. The spread shows how strongly batch, growing conditions and phenotype shift the result.

Two compounds lead the terpene profile. Averaged across the three batches of the Cookies version, beta-caryophyllene accounted for 0.49 %, limonene for 0.38 %, trans-nerolidol for 0.19 % and linalool for 0.10 %. An analysis from a different source reverses the order, placing limonene ahead of beta-caryophyllene, followed by alpha-pinene and beta-myrcene.

THC Content:

For the In House Genetics version, the content is listed as 22 % in one place and as 25 to 30 % in another; the higher figures exceed all measured values evaluated here. Strain descriptions without a breeder reference cite 22 to 26 % THC and 1 % CBG.

Genetics and Origin:

Most vendors list the In House Genetics version as a cross of Mendo Breath and Platinum. One strain description instead names Fruity Pebbles OG and Grape Pie. A review from January 2024 covering a cut grown at Jungle Boys also attributes the strain to In House Genetics, but gives the parents as two instances of Grapes N Cream, i.e. a cross of two plants from Grape Pie and Cookies N Cream; the sample tasted there was listed at 36.61 % total cannabinoids.

Gus' Unique Selections crossed a Grapes of Wrath mother, itself derived from Grape God and Grape Stomper OG, with a Banana Split father from Crockett Family Farms for its own line of the same name. This version is considered predominantly sativa-leaning and has never been available as feminized seed. Cookies, in turn, lists a cross of London Pound Cake #75 and Gelato under the same name, classified as indica.

Aroma and Flavor:

Gus' Unique Selections compares the smell of its own version to frozen grapes in midsummer, and this image carries the name across all lines. Strain descriptions mention sweet grape, tropical fruit and cream, alongside earthy, herbal, spicy and woody notes as well as plum and mint. Those who have tasted flower under this name describe grape soda with menthol; the 2024 review lists cherry, sour fermented grape, orange and a cookie-like base. Community reports vary in how clearly the grape aroma comes through: some find it clear, others taste mainly earth with a light diesel note.

Effects:

Reports describe a fast, head-focused onset with mild pressure behind the eyes, followed by physical relaxation. Users mention euphoria, elevated mood, creativity, talkativeness, hunger and, as the effect progresses, drowsiness. Individual reports instead highlight alertness and focus and do not confirm the heavy component. Dry mouth, dry eyes, headache and restlessness appear as accompanying effects.

Cultivation:

For the feminized In House Genetics version, flowering time is given as 8 to 9 weeks, with medium plant height, a bushy habit and suitability for Sea of Green both indoors and outdoors. Yield figures are 350 to 500 g/m² under artificial light and 400 to 1000 g per plant outdoors, with harvest in autumn. Post-flip stretch is described as moderate to strong, the flowers as dense and heavily resin-coated; cooler nights during late flowering bring out violet to deep purple coloration.

The Gus' Unique Selections line takes longer at 9 to 10 weeks, is sold exclusively as regular seed and is intended for indoor, outdoor and greenhouse cultivation. It grows tall, stretches strongly, and yield is described as high.
