Elev8 Seeds, the source of the best-documented line, attributes to its cross of Strawberry Cough and Sour Diesel BX a sour smell of strawberry candy and states that the sourness came from the Sour Diesel but the diesel did not. Other strain descriptions, by contrast, pair the sour strawberry with a pungent diesel aroma. Plants of other ancestry are also in circulation under the same name.

According to Elev8, the flowering plant fills an entire room with the smell of sour strawberries. The breeder states that anyone who touches stems or leaves afterwards has sticky, strawberry-scented resin on their hands. According to the breeder, the plant hardly stretches, stays short and gives high yields; another profile rates the yield as average and cultivation as relatively easy. The Elev8 version is described as regular seeds and is listed for indoor and outdoor cultivation.

A grow report describes sensitive seedlings that developed into robust, vigorous plants once established. They set flowers early, were ready to harvest 1 to 3 weeks before other strains in the same run and formed many flower clusters with dense, heavily frosted buds. One strain description mentions dark flowers with sticky white trichomes.

Effects:

Elev8 describes the effect as stimulating and euphoric. User reports paint a similar picture: energy, talkativeness, elevated mood, creativity, concentration and a clear head are mentioned, in one report combined with physical relaxation. In contrast, one report describes a strongly sedating effect. Nervousness is named as a side effect; one person describes severe restlessness.

By Jack Davis's own account, the original Fornicator father was crossed with Strawberry Kush; Fornicator itself is listed as a cross of Obama Kush and Cookies and Cream from Fancy Weed. One strain description likewise attributes the strain to Jack Davis but names a Santa Cruz Strawberry Kush as mother and a Snow Cone father, and it mentions almost black leaves with pink and red tones. The breeder describes a room scent of strawberry jam, a dense, sweet aftertaste and a sedating effect; the breeder sets maturity at around day 70 to 72 and states that a long cure benefits the strain.
