The name is not exclusive: several other breeders list crosses with entirely different parents under it. The Kingdom Organic Seeds line is the most thoroughly described and is therefore the focus here; it also appears as a parent in the breeding lines of other breeders.
Cherry Thunderfuck is a phenotype selection from Matanuska Thunderfuck, MTF for short. The father Rusty Haze goes back to Greenman Organic Seeds. Kingdom Organic Seeds emphasizes that the MTF influence is clearly recognizable in the resin of the flowers. One strain description classes the cross as a balanced hybrid with 50 % indica and 50 % sativa; Dkm is in use as a short form of the name.
