Jungle Juice

A producer that grows Jungle Juice aeroponically reports 1st place in the Hybrid Flower category at the Best in Grass 2026 competition. The award went to a line from (Jungle Cake x GMO) x Cheetah Piss, not to the cross of Animal Cookies and an in-house Tangie male that several strain descriptions attribute to Golden State Genetics. Other breeders list strains under the same name with yet other parent lines.

Genetics and Origin:

A strain description and a 2020 review agree in naming Golden State Genetics as the breeder of the Animal Cookies x Tangie cross. Other sources differ: one attributes the strain to Golden State DNA, another names Golden Gate Genetics as originator and at the same time assigns it to Illuminati Seeds. The cross is classified as a hybrid; one description puts the sativa share at 60 % and the indica share at 40 %.

2 producers give the pedigree of the award-winning line in identical terms. One of them names Ziplock Seeds as the breeder.

Versions from Different Breeders:

• At Mephisto Genetics, Jungle Juice is a feminized, autoflowering F1 from 4 Assed Monkey and Beary Berry Punch. The breeder states 75 to 85 days from germination, a height of 80 to 110 cm, a ratio of 65 to 35 in favor of indica and a medium difficulty level. Test plants formed an even canopy with LST and very firm, easy-to-trim flowers; one tester harvested 173 g of dried flower with little training.
• Brother Mendel's Selection crossed Banana Hammock by Ethos with Black Strap into a feminized hybrid with a ruderalis share that, according to the breeder, needs 75 to 90 days from germination. A sativa-leaning and an indica-leaning phenotype are described, along with pronounced stretch, compact, massive flowers and aromas ranging from berry cough candy through fuel to flambéed bananas.
• For Trichome Jungle Seeds, a strain description lists a cross of Jungle Kush and Sour Diesel.

Aroma and Flavor:

Citrus dominates the descriptions of the Golden State Genetics cross, joined by floral notes and tree fruit. Another strain description names pine with a hint of banana and sweet earth, with a sweet-and-sour taste and a banana-like finish. A reviewer in 2020 found fruit and tropical punch in the jar with a concentrated hint of soy sauce, while the smoke showed only muted earthy tones. In 2 strain descriptions, limonene and myrcene lead the terpene profile.

According to the producers, the Cheetah Piss line smells of lemon, pine and diesel; one adds a skunky note and a sour finish of lemon and lime. For one batch, a product listing gives 0.69 % caryophyllene, 0.64 % limonene, 0.32 % humulene and 0.22 % myrcene.

Effects:

The user reports evaluated concern flowers and extracts from various producers, and the lines cannot be reliably separated in them. Relaxation, euphoria, uplifted mood and focus are described repeatedly, along with creativity, talkativeness and silliness. The reports diverge on the course of the effect: some found the strain energizing, others became sleepy, and one describes a slight heaviness in the body. The 2020 review speaks of a head-heavy effect, felt mainly behind the eyes and comparatively short. Dry eyes and dry mouth are named as side effects, occasionally also headache, dizziness, nervousness and paranoia.

THC and CBD Content:

For the Animal Cookies x Tangie cross, the figures contradict each other: one strain description gives 11 % THC and 0 % CBD, another 15 to 17 % THC and 0.45 to 0.78 % CBD. The label values cited in user reports range from 11 to 29 % THC, with no way to tell which line was involved in each case. For the award-winning line there are only producer figures: one product was listed with 29.46 % THC, a batch from another producer with 33.89 % THCA and 34.42 % THC in total. Such individual values vary with batch, cultivation and phenotype.

Cultivation:

For the Animal Cookies x Tangie cross, one strain description gives a flowering time of 69 to 81 days and rates cultivation as moderately difficult. The flowers are considered dense and resinous, with green mixed with purple tones; the 2020 review describes eggplant-colored and emerald-green areas with copper-colored pistils. For the award-winning line, one producer cites golf-ball-sized light green and purple flowers with dense trichome coverage.

Community Experiences:

25 user reports from 2019 to 2026 were evaluated. Citrus runs through the aroma descriptions, from lime with a minty finish through orange with pine and gasoline to creamy lemon. In one report, by contrast, the strain smelled of banana with no citrus at all, in another of cheesy funk. Perceived strength also varies: one report highlights the effect despite 11 % THC, another felt no effect at a low content. 2 reports describe dark to olive green flowers with purple hues.
