Breeder description as reproduced in the breeder's range: Watermelon Zkittlez x White Sangria, indica-dominant, never available as feminized seeds, suitable for indoor and outdoor cultivation.
Watermelon Sangria is an indica-dominant hybrid from Lit Farms, bred from Watermelon Zkittlez and White Sangria and described with aromas of melon, berries and fruit punch.
According to the widely circulated strain description, the scent and taste of Watermelon Sangria resemble fruit punch with a spicy undertone and watermelon. Another description puts sugary melon and fresh berries first, accompanied by sour citrus and a little earth. The indica-dominant hybrid was bred by Lit Farms, a breeder that lists several crosses with Watermelon Zkittlez in its range.
The emphasis shifts depending on the source. Berry, sweetness and mint are named, elsewhere pine, wood and a sour note alongside the fruity base. One strain description lists limonene, caryophyllene and pinene as the dominant terpenes.
Several user reports praise the taste. One refers to a vape cartridge and stresses the distinct watermelon, another compares a concentrate to a watermelon candy. In a further report, the smell on opening seems pungent at first and then recedes.
Lit Farms names Watermelon Zkittlez and White Sangria as parents. White Sangria is considered a cross of Tahoe Hydro OG and Gelato 45, Watermelon Zkittlez a cross of Watermelon Zum Zum and OG Eddy. A widely circulated strain description instead lists Zkittlez rather than Watermelon Zkittlez as a parent; the breeder's description explicitly names the watermelon line.
The relationship to other strains from the same breeder stands out. Watermelon OG crosses Watermelon Zkittlez with Tahoe Hydro OG, Watermelon Gelato with Gelato 45, so in each case with one of the two parents of White Sangria. Lit Farms also used White Sangria in Cherry Sangria, a cross with Cherry Dosidos. One strain description puts the indica share at 70 % and the sativa share at 30 %.
Several user reports describe a course in 2 phases: initially elevated mood, sociability and focus, later relaxation up to sleepiness. In one report the tiredness predominated so clearly that a break to rest became necessary. Others mention giggling, tingling and talkativeness, and one describes a calm state in which focus was retained. The reports refer to flowers, vape cartridges and extracts.
According to strain descriptions, the effects can set in slowly and vary in strength. Among side effects, user reports mention dry mouth several times and headache once; strain descriptions additionally list dizziness.
The figures in strain descriptions diverge: one gives 22 % THC and 1 % CBG, another 23 to 24 % THC.
According to the breeder description from Lit Farms, the strain flowers for around 60 days and is suitable for indoor and outdoor cultivation. In the breeder's range it is listed as regular seeds; it was not offered as feminized. The flowers are described as spade-shaped, with light green foliage and amber-colored hairs; one user report points out how sticky they are.
