White Truffle

How heavily White Truffle hits the body depends on the amount, according to several user reports: consumers describe a quick onset with a loosened, cheerful mood and warn that larger amounts lead to a reluctance to move. The name belongs to a phenotype from the Gorilla Butter F2 line by Fresh Coast Seed Co., which BeLeaf selected while testing these seeds and named after its smell. Gorilla Butter combines Gorilla Glue #4 with Peanut Butter Breath.

Effects:

Reported effects are relaxation and euphoria, along with cheerfulness, a tingling in the body and increased desire. Other reports stress focus, creativity and talkativeness, and some describe the strain as heavy and sleep-inducing. One grow report records a strong body effect with a clear loss of drive after the author's own harvest.

As side effects, consumers name dry mouth and dry eyes, occasionally headaches, an urge to cough and heavy eyelids. Restlessness and paranoia each appear in one report, the paranoia explicitly in connection with too high an amount.

Genetics and Origin:

BeLeaf describes White Truffle as a phenotype it selected and named itself from Gorilla Butter F2, and explains the name with a smell of white truffles. A strain profile dates the selection to around 2020; in November 2020 a cannabis blog already presented flowers from BeLeaf and named Fresh Coast as the breeder of the line. At the High Times Cannabis Cup Nevada People's Choice 2021, an entry of the strain took 2nd place in the Hybrid Flower category, according to a strain description.

Another profile lists White Truffle as a cross of Gorilla Butter and an unknown strain, while a producer from Massachusetts credits In-House Genetics with the cross of GG4 and Peanut Butter Breath. The strain of the same name from Parabellum Genetics is genetically separate: it comes from 95 Dead and Platinum Kush Mints, the latter from In-House Genetics.

Further lines came from the BeLeaf cutting, among them the feminized selfing White Truffle S1 from BeLeaf and White Truffle Cheese, for which Fresh Coast Seed Co. crossed the cutting with Secret Cheese.

Aroma and Flavor:

BeLeaf describes the smell as earth, garlic, mushrooms and kerosene, and for the S1 line also as nail polish with sweet undertones of lemon and crème brûlée. Other strain descriptions list butter, nuts, chestnuts and earth with a slight skunk note, and one producer cedar wood and pepper. In the user reports, wood, orange, pepper, a savory umami note, cheese, butter, diesel and menthol appear.

One documented grow recorded hot gas and rubber with citrus, skunk, cocoa and forest floor during flowering; after maturation, berry and citrus peel were added. As dominant terpenes, strain descriptions name caryophyllene and limonene, supplemented by humulene or myrcene.

THC and CBD Content:

Strain descriptions give 24 to 28 % THC and 0 % CBD. As a single measurement, there is a test report from PharmLabs San Diego, 2026 for flowers under this name: 20.93 % total THC with 23.60 % THCA, plus 0.55 % CBD and 0.10 % CBG.

Cultivation:

For the cutting, 9 to 10 weeks of flowering indoors and an outdoor harvest in mid-October in the northern hemisphere are given. The flowers are considered dense, spade-shaped and heavily covered in trichomes, the foliage dark purple to almost black. A strain profile describes medium-tall, bushy plants with a rather low yield that darken strongly in cool nights and need good air circulation; it rates cultivation as medium to difficult and considers cuttings more reliable than seeds.

A home grower documented one run with the original cutting in living soil: 70 days of flowering, clear stretching after the switch to flowering, long colas at the tops and smaller, round, firm buds below. The foliage stayed uniformly green there.

Versions from Different Breeders:

Several seed vendors list feminized versions that they present as a cross of Gorilla Glue #4 and Peanut Butter Breath. Their information does not show how these lines relate to the cutting from BeLeaf.

• Growers Choice: 70 % indica, 8 weeks of flowering, 650 to 750 g/m² indoors, height 100 to 130 cm indoors and 170 to 220 cm outdoors, outdoor harvest in October, over 30 % THC.
• Zamnesia: 60 % indica, 9 to 10 weeks of flowering, up to 450 g/m² indoors and up to 500 g per plant outdoors, height 130 cm indoors and 220 cm outdoors, outdoor harvest in October, 25 % THC and 0 to 1 % CBD.
• MSNL: 70 % indica, 8 to 10 weeks of flowering, 500 to 600 g/m² indoors, height 100 to 180 cm, outdoor harvest in September, up to 26 % THC and under 1 % CBD; the vendor rates cultivation as easy and names a warm, Mediterranean climate.

For the version from Parabellum Genetics, an origin around 2019 and up to 25 % THC are given; according to the strain information, it was never released as feminized seed.
