also known as Blueberry Muffins
Blueberry Muffin is an indica-dominant cross by Humboldt Seed Company from Purple Panty Dropper and Razzleberry; other breeders use the name for their own genetics.
Humboldt Seed Company bred Blueberry Muffin from Purple Panty Dropper and Razzleberry, an indica-dominant strain that the breeder lists as an F9 line with uniform growth. The name is still not unambiguous: at least 3 other breeders use it for strains of different parentage, and even for the Humboldt version a different second parent is in circulation.
While the breeder names Razzleberry, a widely used strain overview lists Blueberry as the partner of Purple Panty Dropper. According to a pedigree overview, Purple Panty Dropper traces back to Matanuska Mist, Oregon Grape and Purple Haze, and Razzleberry Kush to Raspberry Kush and Purple Kush. Founder Nathaniel Pennington said in a 2020 company profile that he expected Blueberry Muffin to establish itself as a classic. The breeder kept using the line, for example for Blueberry Cupcake with Wedding Cake and for Pineapple Muffin with Pineapple Train Wreck.
At the Emerald Cup 2017, an entry named Blueberry Muffin 10 placed 6th in the Light Deprivation category; in 2018 the same entrant reached 11th place in the licensed outdoor category. For the Highlife Cup 2019, strain descriptions of the Humboldt version credit a 1st place, one of them in the Indica category.
The breeder describes a strong, sweet blueberry scent with brown sugar, pastry and chamomile. Strain overviews add butter and vanilla. User reports keep returning to the comparison with blueberry muffins, and occasionally pineapple, grape, violet, plum or an incense-like note is mentioned in addition.
According to the breeder, the strain first acts energizing and then shifts into deep relaxation. Consumers report relaxation and good mood, but also creativity and focus. Whether it tends to invigorate or to make tired is described differently; in several reports it is considered strong. Dry mouth, dizziness and headaches are mentioned, and a single report describes restlessness and hot flashes.
Humboldt Seed Company states 20 to 28 % THC and gives the CBD content as 0 % on another product page. A strain overview based on product tests lists 18 to 28 % THC.
SC Labs measured two flower samples in 2025 at 23.8 and 27.3 % THCA with 3.48 and 2.3 % terpenes (SC Labs, 2025; SC Labs, 2025); values vary by batch, cultivation and phenotype. A sample from 2022, by contrast, showed a balanced profile with 15.08 % THC and 15.12 % CBD as well as 0.55 % CBG and 0.249 % THCV (SC Labs, 2022). Of the 2.1036 % terpenes in that sample, myrcene at 0.5775 % and limonene at 0.5734 % ranked ahead of β-caryophyllene at 0.2285 %. A strain overview lists caryophyllene, myrcene and limonene as the main terpenes.
The breeder gives 45 days of flowering indoors and an outdoor harvest from 15 September to 1 October, elsewhere to 10 October; a strain overview states 63 to 72 days. At a height of 60 to 80 cm, the breeder rates the yield as medium to high and cultivation as easy. If temperatures fall during flowering, the frosted colas can turn purple. A strain description lists the strain as suitable for indoor, outdoor and greenhouse growing and attributes mold resistance to it.
An outdoor report describes dense, resinous flowers on a medium-sized bush with somewhat wider internode spacing that tolerated topping, LST and supercropping and was ripe in mid-September. A high phosphorus demand is reported from hydroponics. In one indoor grow, by contrast, the flowers stayed small after just over 5 weeks of flowering and had barely gained anything for about 1.5 weeks, while other strains in the same tent kept growing normally; replies suspected genetic variation.
In 2017, Dankmatter Genetics released a Blueberry Muffin limited to 100 packs, made from Black Afghan Kush and DJ Shorts Blueberry F4, available only as regular seeds and with about 66 days of flowering. World Trade Genetics lists a regular Kush × Diesel line with a Blueberry cutting as Blueberry Muffins and gives about 54 days of flowering.
Zamnesia crossed Blueberry with Purple Panty Dropper and states 80 % indica, 7 to 8 weeks of flowering and up to 24 % THC; the company now lists the same parentage and the same data under the name Blueberry Crumble. According to Zamnesia, the autoflower variant needs 9 to 10 weeks from seed to harvest. A grow report also documents a Blueberry Muffin CBD attributed to Humboldt Seed Company; there the plants stretched by almost 70 % after flower induction.

The aroma of blueberry muffins is confirmed again and again in the reports. Several reports describe the effect as strong. An outdoor report mentions dense, resinous flowers and good tolerance of topping, LST and supercropping; a high phosphorus demand and sensitivity to nutrients in pre-flower are reported from hydroponics.
Whether the strain acts more energizing or sleepy is described differently. In one indoor grow, flower formation stalled while other strains in the same tent kept growing normally; respondents suspected genetic variation, which contradicts the uniformity emphasized by the breeder. One report describes restlessness and hot flashes.
